This webinar provides tips, tools and information for professionals to increase their competence and capacity when working with interpreters to serve limited English proficient families. After this interactive webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify professionals’ responsibilities that fall under Washington State and Federal Medicaid language access laws, and CLAS standards
  • Understand the reasons qualified interpreters are essential for CLD family engagement and child best outcomes
  • Name at least 3 ways to work more effectively with interpreters
