[01-08-2012] Our snow tubing activity is coming back!! There are a lot of snow sports happening during the winter season. Have you ever done snow tubing? If not, this is a good chance to try it out. Let's join up in The Summit at Snoqualmie and have a fun snow day. We would like to invite all of you to our 4th annual fun, exciting, and joyful snow tubing event. Transportation will be provided. Please dress appropriately for the cold weather and prepare extra clothes in case you get wet, and don't forget your hat, gloves and scarf. [more info...]

[11.19.2011] Multicultural Families Empowerment project happening December 10, 2011. Are you interested in connecting with other diverse families who share similar culture, language & experiences of raising children with disabilities?
The Multicultural Family Empowerment Project is forming different culture, ethnic and language family support groups for diverse families in South Seattle and South King County. You are invited to attend this multicultural family gathering event to form and join a parent group. [more details :: registration form]

[09.25.2011] You, your family and friends are cordially invited to join us for a fun family event.  This is an inclusive event for children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families and friends of Open Doors for Multicultural Families. Come pick your own pumpkins from a pumpkin patch nearby the Kent library; carve and decorate your own pumpkins while having family holiday portraits taken by volunteer professional photographers and enjoy delicious lunches.  Come to meet with other multicultural families of children with disabilities and special needs.  Our volunteers will assist your children to decorate and carve pumpkins.
